My Summer Playlist

I know that its almost July, but summer didn't start until June 21st (my birthday!).
And I know that after July is August, then September...then summer is over :I. But nonetheless,
here are a few of the songs that make my summer days bearable.
Enjoy!

Moby - Porcelain, Natural Blues
Bishop Allen - Butterfly Nets
Little Joy - Don't Watch Me Dancing
Camera Obscura - If Looks Could Kill
Jenny Owen Youngs - Bricks, Hot in Herre
The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize?
The Airbourne Toxicity Event - Sometime Around Midnight
Miniature Tigers - Cannibal Queen, The Wolf
Kira Willey - Colors
Sonic Youth - Superstar
Erin McCarley - Pony (It's OK)
Alela Diane - Dry Grass and Shadows
Boaz - No More

And here is what my room looks like now...just the one corner is clean for now. Thats why its such a squished picture:

its been a long time since i rock and rolled

And since I've posted. I have neglected you my most precious blog. As I've been away for some time, many thing have occurred. I've grown older, I've gotten a tan, and my sister has gotten married. And since it is Sunday also, I'd like to share some things I'm digging right now. Then onto the pictures!

For starters, I'm really into photography and scrapping and everything, and recently I've been visiting this blog to get inspiration. She makes these little books that are so spontaneous and creative that I've started to make some myself. Check out her site and let me know if you'd like a little art journal or crafty book of your own!
  • Crocheted back tanks are one of my favorite things about summer right now. Before vacation, I bought about five of them. And I wore every one in Myrtle Beach! And I bought one the other day that turned out to be too big...but I might fix it with my sewing machine!

(the one on the far right is the new one.)
  • Vintage sunglasses..I mean its nothing new. I have always wanted some vintage frames for my face but haven't been able to find the perfect pair. Elsie Flannigan always has super cool ones.

  • Wedding receptions. I forgot how much I love dancing at them! Because as much as I look silly, other girls look silly too. I had so much fun dancing with my Mom and Dani and Alison.

  • Cloud wallpaper. I could do some serious crafty damage with that stuff.

Now I'll share some photos from vacation!

Have a happy day!

Today

Today is lousy. I feel lousy because the day is lousy. A good thing about today is that I did not work. That is a good good thing. Also I am going to swim with Alison and Hannah, also a good thing. I came across this blog and have been browsing through it all afternoon. I watched a video for Cadbury chocolate. Its called Cadbury Eyebrows. Look it up on youtube its awesome.
I wish I did something more today than I did but I'm glad I didn't have to work. I really hate it there.
Luckily I will be on vacation for a week and some days so I can relax and not think about my stupid job. And hopefully take some happy pictures.
I'd like to embroider some words onto a shirt of mine. What should those words be?
Small post for today..but tomorrow may bring bigger things.

Don't be sad, Vlog!

So glad that I have not a popular blog. Simply because my Vlogging skills are not so good.

Nonetheless I did it. I tried to cancel my membership to stupid Urban Active but those jerks screwed me over by not telling me things so I'm stuck. Might as well use it I guess. Maybe I could get a couple free tans for my misfortune..Maybe not.

So today I swapped Sara's room with the pong room and my crafts. I swept and cleaned both the floors and washed the walls in the pong room. It was gross. Next is cleaning and organizing my room which is the real challenge. I should also get around to doing laundry but I am a very provrastinative person.

Elsie from A Beautiful Mess just did a 24 hour blog. Posting every hour. Intense. I don't think I have enough to talk about for an entire day. Props to you Elsie.

Oh also, check out Color Me Katie's blog. She's so cute and creavtive. She makes thought bubbles, shadows and fun shapes and spreads them throughout Brooklyn to brighten people's day! And she spent a day dancing with strangers in the park! So lovely.

Well I guess I'll be going now.

Stay classy, world.
