It is my goal to shoot these before winter. The bride and pier might be tough because I'm not going to any weddings or coastal locations anytime soon. But I think it will be fun to search for things. I might start making lists like this more and keep them with me to do while I'm out.

Friday Favorites

Sushi. I have recently become smitten with sushi.
I never thought I'd eat raw fish willingly, but alas
something came over me and I tried some and loved it.
This is from Benihana for my best friend Jen's birthday.

My girl James. Sadly I couldn't keep her but she's still in my life.
I see her whenever I want. She is the sweetest little thing
but she's got a mean streak.

Elise's 27 Materials project. This is such a fun way to challenge yourself
to use different things that normally wouldn't be in your
usual routine.

Kaylah's nails. They are always so adorable and colorful.
They usually match her quirky personality and her
bright hair.

Lights

 Wine and champagne glasses

 Dining room chandelier

Candles from Ikea
I've been reading Elise's blog forever and love her photo inspiration posts.
This one is based on light. I don't really like my pictures, only the first one.
They're not very inspiring but it got me to shoot things with more variety.
Usually my go to shots are of my cats and my food.

Hello August!

With August I expect to see some changes in my routine. Work at Ikea will be more intense and I will be getting less sleep. I intend to work on my memory keeping more often, not waiting until the end of the month to cram it into one evening. My mom and I are going to have a yard sale at the beginning of September so there will be some crazy sorting of my attic's contents soon. Its very exciting what's going on around here. This month is for finishing projects and keeping busy. This month is for blogging more and slacking less.

Braid Wednesday

I think one day I will just go for it and dye my hair teal. I think it would be fantastic.
Celebrating braids today. I love wearing my hair braided but I'm not great at doing my own hair. I've never learned how to french braid, something my mom is really good at.

Have a great Wednesday!
